General Information
What's Going On?
SMB Nation Fall returns for its 7th year with all new content and an expanded view of the SMB technology opportunity. Now more than ever, SMB consultants and channel partners need a "makeover" that includes new business practices, increased professionalism, and new technology opportunities above and beyond network infrastructure.
SMB Nation Fall is a blend of business content (BusinessSpeak) and technical content (GeekSpeak). This curriculum, presented in an academic learning environment, fosters professional peer interaction that will continue long after the weekend. Much of the content is oriented toward creating immediate results you can use the following day (for example, the "How To" paradigm). The goal of our rich content is to help you immediately generate more cash!
SMB Nation’s Windows 7 SMB Channel Partner LAUNCH! Be there at the start of this much anticipated operating system. Find out why SMB channel partners are already applauding the arrival of Windows 7!
BusinessSpeak - This track is a mix of elevated business planning conversations and immediate tactile tasks. Think of this as a "mini-MBA" that is practical and hands-on. Content examples include the successful application of the managed services paradigm and much more.
GeekSpeak - You live and work in a technical professional field and you must have technical competencies and stay "current." Our multidisciplinary approach (data networks, virtualization, cloud, voice) allows you to "own" the technology relationship with your clients.
SMB Social Media – Ride the next wave of “work habits” involving social media including well-known tools such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs and effective Search engine optimization (SEO). These sessions benefit both you and your customers.
SMB VoIP – This party is just starting and savvy SMB channel partners are implementing VoIP solutions at customer sites. Start learning this new area in a weekend.
Trusted Business Advisor - Simply stated, old habits must be broken to move forward. Serving your clients as a Trusted Business Advisor elevates your consultancy practice to new levels and allows you to serve the client holistically and direct the entire technology program for maximum return on investment (ROI).
Hallway 101 - We consistently hear the peer-to-peer introductions and interactions are the number one take way from a professional conference such as SMB Nation Fall. So come get your geek on this October!
Hands-on Labs - Look for more information soon on technology-based hands-on labs in the data networking and telephony area. This is your chance for bona fide "active learning" without real world distractions. This only adds to the value you receive at SMB Nation Fall 2009!

The Riviera opened on April 20, 1955 as the first high-rise and the ninth resort on the Las Vegas Strip. The Riviera is one of the oldest and most famous casino resorts in Las Vegas. The Riviera also broke new ground in its design: previously, Strip resorts resembled roadside motor courts.
Virtual Tour: Click Here
The Riviera was built by a group of investors from Miami. The resort has gone through many ownership changes over the years, including a period of control by owners linked to the Mafia (as was the case for many Vegas resorts in the 1960s and 1970s). Harpo Marx and Gummo Marx held minority interests at the opening, and Dean Martin once held a minority ownership stake while he was a headliner in the showroom.
Liberace was the featured headliner at the resort's opening, and for many years afterward.
The Riviera is often chosen as a shooting location for many Hollywood films including:
- Ocean's Eleven (1960).
- Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997).
- Casino (1995).
- Go (1999).
- 3000 Miles To Graceland (2001).
- Crazy Girls Undercover (2008).
- 21 (2008).
Come and enjoy one of Vegas' most famous Casino Hotels.
