VMware channel partners will reportedly begin selling Zimbra — an open source email system that looks very much like OWA — starting on the first of the month.
The Zimbra Collaboration Suite (now in version 6.0) has been recognized as the leading open source solution for enterprise, service provider, education, and government environments. Mac and Linux email server bases, growing in numbers, are expected to benefit most directly.
Form and functionality will be familiar to technies who teethed on older versions of Exchange Server, or using Outlook or Office standard. Here's the calendar, for example:

Will Exchange Server be damaged by the upstart and channel partner backing by VMware?
