At some level, it's akin to who Microsoft prepared for several years for the departure of Bill Gates. Today I have started a long journey in career transition to politely leave the private sector and return to the academic community. I am honored and humbled to accept the appointment as Dean of the School of Technology at Aspen University.
Earlier this week, we launched the accredited SMB Nation Pocket MBA program at Aspen University and have already enjoyed several enrollments! This is a way for our community to engage in continuing education, professional development and validate your skills as a "Trusted Business Advisor" before the eyes of your clients.
Over the next few months, I'll blog from my ivory tower and engage you, the SMB Nation tribal member, in our acaedmic offerings at Aspen University.
For now - here are some useful links:

BTW - rumors of my demise are unfounded :) I anticipate this career journey to work in the academic community full-time to take five to ten years. Guess I better start recruiting a new outisde CEO at SMB Nation to engage in succession planning!
