ConnectSolutions today announced that they have acquired provider of Microsoft Lync-based UC solutions, NextUC. This acquisition will allow ConnectSolutions to expand their market to include service offerings for the SMB niche.

In particular, ConnectSolutions will add the NextUC self-service platform to deliver their UC technology, which includes VoIP, IM/E-mail, Real-presence, virtual classrooms and online collaboration services. This cloud-based platform is expected to greatly simplify and shorten the Lync deployment process for any size of organization.
