Dell today announced its partners ranked network, mobile and cloud security as the top threats facing their customers in a recent survey.
The 120 randomly selected partners are attending the first Dell Security Peak Performance Conference in Florida.
Partners said network, mobile and cloud security are the three most common concerns they hear from customers, and BYOD, selected by 59 percent of respondents, led the partners’ ranking as one of the top two threats of concern to their customers.
Survey results also supported Dell’s current strategies to engage with channel partners to deliver security solutions. Profitability, training by vendors and rebates and special offers were ranked as the top three most important elements of creating a partner program in security.
Moreover, Dell announced a 50 percent instant rebate for multiple SKUs in the SonicWALL TZ and NSA series is available Oct. 13-Oct. 17, 2014.
