So when Fine Solutions announced last week it was spinning off a division, FineMSP.com, it made perfect sense. The idea was that, after months of organizing, building and transforming, FineMSP.com is a stand-alone full independent IT services provider (services including full IT support, one-click contact options, portal access).
The split was just announced but occurred on March 1. Fine Solutions is best known for its focus on Microsoft Dynamics and as such, it feels natural that it would spin off a traditional MSP practice. “We are excited about the focus and dedication that Fine Solutions can provide to our client base, while allowing Steve and his team to do the same and blossom in the MSP market,” said Dan Fine, Managing Partner of Fine Solutions.
“I’m really excited about the focus that each company will be able to obtain with this separation. Fine Solutions has a far more global presence, while Fine MSP will be focused on local small and medium businesses in the Puget Sound Region.” says Fine MSP’s Steve Treanor (pictured at right). Few people would know that Treanor has a nearly decade-long relationship with SMB Nation, hailing from the mid-2000s when Treanor was in telecom, helping to set-up the first SMB Nation VoIP phone system with solution called Vonexus.
