Strange times these are.
I’ve been in some very bizarre conversations with both SMB Nation members and our community of sponsors. You, the reader, are now consistently asking the question “what do I do now” in a Goldilocks economy that’s not too hot, not too cold, but not just right either. In the U.S., the political stunts are creating fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD), which effectively creates a deer in headlight look. If I’ve seen it once these past several months, I’ve seen it a hundred times. Trust me.
The “stuck” look is often followed by a request that I provide insights and observations into what the future holds and what direction our readers should go. I’m happy to hit that one head on and suggest that the future is brighter than you might imagine. I call it the disappearing middle class and it’s my SMB Nation Fall keynote.
