Work Market Partners with Autotask on Software Integration

Our friends at New York City-based Work Market informed us this morning that they have formed a partnership and extensive software integration with Autotask Corporation. The integration, which went live at the start of the New Year, can be configured within 24 hours to enable businesses to effectively synchronize and exchange data between the Work Market and Autotask platforms, increasing the speed and efficiency of contractor management and payment.

Jeffrey Leventhal, Work Market’s CEO, emphasized the complementary relationship between the two platforms. “Through a Work Market integration, Autotask customers can seamlessly connect with, manage, and pay a rapidly-growing global workforce of qualified contractors,” said Leventhal. “Work Market enables our clients to customize both their Autotask and Work Market configurations to match their business processes.”

The partnership will involve the layering of Work Market’s web-based software and marketplace on top of the Autotask platform, allowing customers to instantly access a global marketplace of qualified contractors, freelancers, and temporary workers in a compliant fashion, and take advantage of a scalable global payment engine.

Autotask customers can also expect the tight integration to lead to increases in speed and productivity: key work order information along with custom work order data can now be instantly exchanged between the two platforms and updated in real time.

“The integration with Work Market makes it easier for Autotask clients to expand their capacity and the range of services they offer by building a network of external resources,” said Len DiCostanzo, Autotask’s SVP of Community and Business Development. “From within Autotask, users can assign tickets and track and manage work in progress, whether it is assigned to internal or external resources.”

We have been following Work Market over the last 2+ years as it expands its services and offerings from its headquarters in New York City. Late last year, Work Market also announced that it had opened a satellite office on Long Island, just outside of the New York City area.

Additionally, the company made an announcement last spring that it had partnered with iYogi to initially recruit 1,000 local Tech Support Engineers across the continental United States. Regarding the partnership, at the time, Leventhal said, “iYogi has built its service portfolio through an understanding of the unique dynamics across its base of close to two million users in key geographies,” Leventhal said.  “Today it is the largest online aggregator of tech support service requests. iYogi will compliment its remote delivery model by expanding its base of experts through on-ground tech support engineers.”

As part of the new integration, Work Market is offering free API integration for any customer who signs up for a one year or longer agreement within the next 60 days.
