John Hill 

I'm doing great. And I'm glad I'm inside with air conditioning, because it's another hot day out there today.

Harry Brelsford 

Yeah. Tell me if this is true, is you know, I'm a little bit further north and just outside Austin. And when I watch the news, it's it appears that San Antonio is just slightly hotter than than where I'm at the Austin area y'all are? Do I have that wrong? It seems like you're always one or two degrees hotter.

John Hill 

You're You're exactly right on that it stays a lot, usually more than one or two degrees. But this year has been a little bit different. But yeah, it's definitely hotter here. So you're welcome to come down and join me in.

All right, well do when it gets cool. So let's talk about the next gen security conference in late October put on by the channel company co located with next gen, which I've been to, you said it's in Florida, what's going on? You're going to speak?

John Hill 

That's right. It's going to be in Orlando, Florida. I believe it's the 26th of October, I remember correctly. And we're going to be talking about compliance because compliance is a big thing now for MSPs. And how you can drive compliance using cybersecurity risk assessments. You know, I wrote a book earlier this year on cybersecurity risk assessments for your business. And I thought it'd be a good topic to blend and bring in somebody to talk about. So they snagged me. So imagine that.

Harry Brelsford 

Yeah, now will you stay for the whole? When we're off camera you sing? That's a one day colocated show I get it? Will you stay for the remainder of the show where you soak up,

John Hill 

I'll actually be there for the entire show. So that was one of the things that requested of him. I said, you know, I'd really love to come to the show is Oh, and they said, sure we can handle that. So looking forward

to it. Now that sounds pretty good. Well, what's news otherwise? Did you go to channel cop from CompTIA? Or Robin stuff? Or what were you been otherwise?

John Hill 

Oh, my gosh, I've been to two Robbins stuff, you know, into guys to the Casaya connect it. Oh, good. Okay. And that was an excellent conference again this year, just just like it was last year. However, I managed to catch COVID While I was there this time. But it was the last day so it was no big deal. But it was just kind of annoying.

Harry Brelsford 

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And then what other shows will you hit this fall? So are you gonna hit datacard and roughly mid September it nation. Anything else on the radar?

John Hill 

I'm gonna have to miss those. We got a really busy schedule here right now, onboarding a lot of new clients. So next event, I'll be at probably Robin Robins PC club meeting in October, early October. And then her roadshow, it's going to be Houston this year. So be really convinced to do it.

Yeah, that's a hop on a bounce what? San Antonio to Houston, three hours, three and a half,

three and a half, depending on where you're going.
