Earlier today, Symantec representatives sent out a reminder that the company’s Backup Exec.cloud service will be shut down permanently starting January 6,
2015. All current Symantec customers will have access to their data stored in the Backup Exec.cloud until that date, or until the end of their service contracts, whichever comes first. Customers are reminded to have all of their data backed up onto a different system by Jan 6 to avoid business interruption.
