IBM today launched its new social collaboration offering, IBM Verse, which brings together myriad IBM platforms, innovations and ideas to integrate the
IBM Verse brings together email, meetings, calendars, file sharing, instant messaging, social updates and video chats and is the first messaging system to enable users to pinpoint and retrieve specific information across various types of email content.
It has built-in analytics and learns employee preferences and priorities over time. IBM Verse clients will also have the future opportunity to embed a Watson feature, a predictive and visual analytics tool.

"These forces are reshaping how people make decisions, create and share new ideas and collaborate across teams to get work done. With IBM Verse, we challenged our design teams to use analytics to completely reimagine the social collaboration experience to focus on engaging people and driving outcomes, not managing messages and inboxes."
IBM Verse was developed in collaboration with more than 50 IBM clients and partners worldwide and is delivered on the SoftLayer Cloud. Optimized for mobile and web environments, it is a scalable solution usable by enterprise and SMB clients.
A beta release will be available this month, with a freemium version delivered via the IBM Cloud Marketplace available in Q1 2015.
