NexusTek, 2018 MSP of the Year, and its executives recognized industry-wide for innovation and for fostering business adoption of cloud managed IT services

Denver, CO (November 29, 2018) NexusTek today announced that CompTIA, the world’s leading technology association, has appointed NexusTek Chief Operating Officer, James Hwang, to its Channel Advisory Board.

Hwang brings more than 24 years’ experience in executive management, technology infrastructure and cloud services to this post, including management and IT consulting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial restructuring, sales and channel development, product development, software development and engineering delivery processes in various markets.

“I am humbled to join CompTIA’s esteemed Channel Advisory Board and look forward to working with this elite group of executives in promoting industry standards and best practices to help channel partners navigate an evolving marketplace,” said James Hwang.

As Chief Operating Officer at NexusTek, Hwang develops the company’s operational strategy, setting comprehensive goals and performance metrics while executing a roadmap for optimal growth. NexusTek, a provider of managed IT services, cyber security, cloud services and IT consulting, recently unveiled its new brand conveying its nationwide reach, comprehensive suite of services, and reinforced commitment to delivering an elite level of service.

“NexusTek’s success reflects the insight, expertise and commitment of our entire team to providing exceptional customer experiences by delivering better services,” said NexusTek CEO, Mike Jenner. “James’ appointment to CompTIA’s Channel Advisory Board is well-deserved, as his contributions to channel growth and innovation are without equal.  On behalf of NexusTek, I congratulate James on this new role, and applaud CompTIA for its shrewd selection.

“James’ ability to identify industry trends and structure internal operations, productize complex services into simplified solutions that provide value by solving problems earned NexusTek the highly-coveted recognition as the 2018 MSP of the Year, as well as its ranking on the Cloud 100.”

The CompTIA Channel Advisory Board includes executives from technology hardware manufacturers, software publishers, carriers, service companies, distributors, master agents, and technology solution provider companies.

“With the breadth of his experience in our industry, James is a strong addition to our Channel Advisory Board,” said Annette Taber, CompTIA’s vice president for industry outreach. “His insights into the business of technology – how it is developed, marketed, purchased and deployed – will help guide the actions we take as an advisory council, an association and an industry.”

This group provides counsel and insight to help technology solution providers adapt to the changing marketplace. This includes helping them to build out their “business solutions” practices, using cloud-based options and other emerging technologies to help customers with their digital transformations.

“Over the years,” added Hwang, “I’ve learned that transparency and clearly-defined performance metrics are two of the most critical elements in an organization’s ability to consistently operate at the highest levels. At NexusTek, we utilize Microsoft Power BI to standardize processes and create a reference architecture that eliminates complexity and allows our team to efficiently deliver best-of-breed solutions.

“With a watchful eye on internal performance, NexusTek is able to execute on its customer-first mantra and solidify its position as the nation’s premier multi-cloud services provider.”
